Length

Overview

Fluency isn't only words — it's knowing what's actually happening in the room. This course builds the situational awareness that lets you read tone, intent, and dynamics in English business settings, then respond with the right register and timing. We work through real interactions — meetings, negotiations, difficult conversations — so you sense where things are heading and steer them, instead of reacting a beat late. Built for professionals who understand the words but want to read, and move, the room.

Three phases

  1. Reading people & tone

Picking up intent, mood, and subtext in English — what's said, what's meant, and what's being avoided — so you're never guessing at where a conversation really stands.

  2. Reading the dynamics

Power, hierarchy, and group dynamics in international settings — who holds the room, when to push, when to wait, and how directness and silence actually read.

  3. Responding with range

Matching register, tone, and timing to the moment — pushing back, softening, redirecting — so you influence the room instead of just keeping up with it.

Outcome

Walk away able to read a room in English — tone, intent, and dynamics — and respond with the right register and timing, so you shape conversations instead of trailing them.

The MBA Sessions

MBA-Style Thinking, in English

Founding rate
¥96,000¥150,000standard
Pay once, or split into 3 monthly payments of ¥32,000 (founding rate).
Length
12 sessions (about 3 months)
Format
1:1, online

Overview

Get the thinking of an MBA — the frameworks, the case discussions, the business vocabulary — without the long-term cost or commitment. Each session works through a real business framework or case study in English: we discuss it, pull it apart, and build the terminology and fluency you need to hold your own in strategic conversations at work. You sharpen two things at once: how you think about business, and how you talk about it in English. Built for professionals who want to sound — and reason — like a peer in international business settings.

Three phases

  1. Frameworks & fundamentals

Core business frameworks and the vocabulary that comes with them, discussed and applied in English so the terms stick because you've used them.

  2. Cases & discussion

Working through real business cases the way an MBA seminar would — analyzing, taking positions, defending them — building fluency in strategic conversation.

  3. Your world

Applying frameworks and case-thinking to your actual industry, company, and decisions, so the language transfers directly to the work on your desk.

Outcome

Walk away able to think in business frameworks and discuss them confidently in English — sounding like a peer in strategic conversations, not someone translating in their head.

Working With International Teams, Clients & Stakeholders

Founding rate
¥96,000¥150,000standard
Pay once, or split into 3 monthly payments of ¥32,000 (founding rate).
Length
12 sessions (about 3 months)
Format
1:1, online

Overview

For professionals at globally-facing companies who want to feel like a peer in international interactions — not a guest. Built around your real meetings, clients, and team dynamics. Over 12 sessions, the program is built around four themes:

Four themes

  1. Read the room

Social cues and unspoken rules of international workplace interaction — when to speak, how directness reads, what silence signals.

  2. Sound clear

Targeted pronunciation and native expressions that reduce friction so your ideas land.

  3. Navigate the culture gap

Where Japanese and Western business communication diverge — feedback, disagreement, hierarchy, email tone — and how to move between them.

  4. Follow-through that builds trust

Communicating between meetings — clear follow-up messages, async updates, and chasing or clarifying without sounding pushy or apologetic. Staying present when you're not in the room.

Outcome

Start showing up to international meetings with more clarity and confidence — and a clearer read on the dynamics in the room.

Asking Better Questions

Improving Your 1:1 English Conversation Skills

Price
¥32,000
Length
4 sessions
Format
1:1, online

Overview

The shorter, lower-commitment way in. Many people study English but still struggle to have good conversations. Have you ever felt a conversation at work stop because you didn't know what to say? Or because you lost track of what was happening? Or because the other person looked disinterested? We often think more fluent English, more vocab words, better pronunciation = better conversations. Those things can be helpful, but they're not always necessary. This course is designed to help you become more capable of holding better conversations in English right away — without needing to become fluent.

Sessions

  1. Listening for context

Catching cues and the who/what/when/where/why that tell you where a conversation is going.

  2. Asking without friction

Clarification questions and follow-ups that keep you in control instead of falling behind.

  3. Keeping it alive

Engaging your partner, natural reactions and default responses, recovering when you've lost the thread.

  4. Conversations that continue

Treating each talk as part of an ongoing relationship — leaving threads open, referencing past conversations, and ending in a way that makes the next one easier. The skill of being remembered, not just understood.

Outcome

Walk away with practical tools to keep a conversation going — and noticeably less freezing or stalling when one gets hard.

Keep going

A course is a starting point, not the finish line

Whether you start with four focused sessions or a full 12-week program, these courses build a foundation — not fluency in a month. Most people carry on afterward, either with ongoing 1:1 coaching or a next course that builds on what you've covered. Skills like these grow with reps, so the real gains come from staying with it.
